Dressing for Fall: Leather Jackets

Last year, at the end of the winter, I found a Topshop leather jacket on eBay for $50! Since it was the end of the season, I didn’t get to wear it. The second there was a slight chill in the air this fall, I made sure it was front and center in my closet. However, I had never owned a black leather jacket before, so I turned to Pinterest for inspiration on how to wear it!

a bit graphic

I love the trend of graphic tee’s! In college, I lived in graphic tee’s and jeans. I wish I had kept all of them. With the trend back in style, I have put together a collection of graphic tee’s I think I really need. They are perfect for Saturday morning farmer’s markets, summer concerts, or just a cool, laid back look. I love that they can be pair with anything from skirts, leather pants or jean shorts. Here are a few of my favorites!

Coffee Table Books

Admittedly, with this move coming up, my mind has been focused on just home decor. Mainly, our living room, since that is where we will spend most of our time. We are getting a coffee table from his parents and it is mine to decorate. I have been collecting books from art exhibits for years, so I have a collection started. However, I don’t own any decor or fashion-based coffee table books. I put together this list of books I want, mainly as a hint for Tim! Here is hoping he get’s it!

Feeling Spring

With the weather finally getting warmer, I no longer have to layer up every morning while getting ready for work. With this warm weather, it also inspires me to a put a little bit of color back into my wardrobe. Dresses, bright necklaces and straw hats are just a few of the items I have been adding to my wardrobe lately! Below are just a few of my favorites I have found recently and am adding to my wish list! Clearly I have a thing for J Crew’s Factory Website, which happens to also be having a 30% off sale at the moment!

My Go-To Outfit

Image
It is quite fitting that this outfit is my first outfit post. This outfit is the perfect example of my go-to outfit! The jean jacket is probably the oldest and most used item in my wardrobe. I throw it on almost every time I wear a dress. It is from Gap, and it is perfectly broken in.  This dress is one of the most comfortable, and it’s 3/4 sleeves allow for it to be work almost all year long.  What is your favorite go-to outfit?
